Scubavice is a Platinum NAUI Diver and Technical Diver Training Center, and SDI Dive Training Center

 

The facilities at Scubavice have been serving SWFL's diving needs since 1968! We carry a wide range of brands of high quality scuba and snorkeling gear (see our Products page).  We are also the only scuba facility in South Florida to offer Air, Nitrox and Tri-mix fills. All class and confined water training is conducted on-site at Scubavice, in our classroom and indoor heated pool facilities.  Open water training is conducted on the East Coast, in Pompano, West Palm Beach or Key Largo, and all students have the opportunity to experience ocean/reef diving.  Want to know more? NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) is one of the oldest diver training agencies in the world, with a global reputation for producing excellent divers by having the highest training standards in the recreational diving industry and providing quality dive training through education.  Many organizations, including Walt Disney World, NASA, and the US Navy Seals have chosen NAUI courses for their diver education programs.

SDI (Scuba Diving International) began in 1998, stemming from their sister organization TDI (Technical Diving International), which specializes in the more advanced disciplines of dive training.  Although SDI is one of the newer certification agencies on the block, it has grown rapidly thanks to its technology-focused, streamlined approach to the course materials, allowing students to study the essential academics online and then emphasizing practical diving skills learned in both the pool and open water environments. SDI is the only scuba training and certification agency to require students to be taught with modern dive computers from the onset of training.

SDI course materials are state-of-the-art; the materials are lavishly illustrated with photography and graphics.
