Hello Scubavice Divers!

We wanted to take this opportunity to keep you up to date on the measures we have taken here at Scubavice to ensure the health and safety of our customers, students and staff.

  • Any staff members who is feeling unwell, or has been in contact with anyone showing symptoms is being asked to remain at home and self-quarantine for 14 days.

  • We have increased our cleaning and sterilizing efforts within the store, pool area and restrooms.  All display masks have been disinfected and will be regularly cleaned and disinfected as needed. Soap and water are readily available in all restrooms.

  • We are disinfecting our student and rental regulators using a non-toxic sterilizing agent in our fresh water rinse bins. We will continue to use this method and change out the water frequently.

  • We ask that customers and students purchase a new mouth pieces for your scuba regulator if you are using our rental or student gear.

  • We have several different types of defog available for purchase that all work well, please do not use your spit to defog your mask!

  • We will continue to run our events and classes as scheduled for now, however we ask that if you are not feeling well to please remain at home and call us to reschedule.  We will continue to monitor the situation, and will update/reschedule events should conditions change.

  • Scuba Diving is probably the best way to stay safe from the Coronavirus…breathing our compressed air which has been filtered multiple times will allow you to continue your diving activities.

We thank you for your understanding and continues support in these rapidly changing and uncertain times.  As of today, charters are still running on both the East Coast and here locally, and our friends here and in Pompano, West Palm and Key Largo all appreciate your continued support as well.

Stay safe, stay well and keep diving!

The Scubavice Team
